He is the founder, as well as web designer, photographer and narrator of this website. His ambition is to realize TibetGateWay.Com™ into a small firm, in hope for, Chinese government, the newcomer of WTO, eventually allows the operation of private travel services in China by the year of 2005. In past 2 years, TibetGateWay.Com™ has been able to survive due to the support and unconditional trust from our customers internationally. Dear Travelers, My name is Chen Naxin (proun. Cheng La Sheen). My job is to make the arrangements, including obtaining the necessary permits, to get you where you want to go. I will travel with you, taking you to the kind of locations you wish, arranging accommodations, food, transportation and permissions. I believe, my relationship(Karma) with Tibet had been under development since 1969, when I was born in the place called Ya'an, where traditionally is the source of tea for Tibetan people. I was raised up there, too. My Tibetan friend told me, Ya'an is called Yak-Am-Do in Tibetan dialect, means the tail of Yak. Anyway, it is my passion to learn about the culture, history, and nature of the Tibetan areas, and I enjoy sharing this knowledge with my customers, if they share these interests. Whether you have a large group or are a single individual, I enjoy making custom arrangements that meet your needs. |

I began learning English when I worked for two years as an assistant to an American couple (John Flower and Pam Leonard) doing history and anthropology fieldwork in rural Sichuan. We lived in a Chinese village together for over a year. Not only was this was a good opportunity for me to learn about Chinese village life, but it also helped me understand more about the needs and interests of the foreign traveler. Besides, myself, is an extensive traveler, my destinations include all the traditional hot spots in China i.e. Beijing, Shanghai(&Yangtze Delta Areas), Xi'an, Guilin, Three Gorges, Silk Road, Canton(& Pearl River Delta Areas), Manchuria(Northeast China), Yunnan, Guizhou, Qinghai and Tibet etc. In the same time, I have been to India, Vietnam, North Korea and South Korea as international traveler, and frequent flyer to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hongkong and Macao.
